Judeo-christianity teaches man that he/she shall be submissive in his or hers worship of the one true god and that this god would be only thing worth devoting yourself too. It teaches it's followers that indifferance is the most important aspect of life. If someone hurts you, you shall not feel anger,hatred or vengence upon that individual. You should forgive them according to the teachings of Vite Krist. This would include murderers, rapists, abusers, liars and other degenerates that will destroy your life.
Judeo christianity is disgusting in it's simplicity. It's a religion for the mass society, the overpopulated monotonus world that thinks in simple ways. What easier way is there for salvation and forgiveness than go down on your knees and say a magical prayer? The judeo-christian god is a control freak and not only that, he is a child that craves attention and worsip. He craves that people only see him and no other(especially not their own selves.), he also wants you to destroy your own individuality to fit into his image.

Heathenism, or paganism(Derived from the word paganus, which essentially mean farmer, one of rural life, i think.) teaches man to act on his own accord. To bring honour to yourself and your community. Havámál is a poem that preserved some fragments of the norse traditions and philosophy. rather than being like commandments, it's a poem of sound and intellectual advice. It encourages us to be self-reliant, to be strong and fierce when it's needed, to avoid intoxication because it impairs our judgement, to stay strong, To speak truth and speak when you have something worth saying. but we do have one thing in common with christians, we believe we should be honest at all times. How ever the christian teaching is in itself full of lies and they have no real problem with liars.
We don't deny the existance of other gods since the gods many. One individual may worship Freyr, another, Tor. One might look to Freyja for guidance, the other looks for Odin, but most of the time we honour all the different gods and we don't deny the existance of other just because we might prefer one god among them. Women might look an Lov as a role model because she united men and women to attain their goals, even men can appreciate that. We look at Baldur as the ideal way of being. A god of purity and beauty, even we don't attain his perfection we should never let go of him and our tears after his death brought him back with his Father(Odin) and his fellow gods. Heimdall brought us order and Tor protects that order and all of mankind(as long as we are honourable.) We look at our deities as role models that we should strive for, wether it's strength and ferocity(Tor,donar,perkele,perun.) or beauty (Freyr,Freyja,Nerthus and Njord.) or wisdom(Odin,Freyja,Heimdall and Baldur.) we value all of these things.

We learn from Odin that we should never stop seeking knowledge and we should take risks and sacrifices to obtain tha knowledge. We believe in a mother nature that neither loves nor hates us(Nerthus), a nature that exists on it's own accord. We then also believe in a interconnectedness with out environment that sprung from the very first being, Ymir. We believe in the heroic ethic: courage, strength, honour and even self sacrifice. Intelligence is our highest virtue.

We should look at our gods as examples and we should revolt against the madman Jehovah and this modern world his followers threw us in.

First of all, there is no such thing as "Judeo-Christianity." They are two completely different religions with completely different outlooks on life, faith, and religion.

I really don't care if you dislike Judaism. I do care if you erase it by pretending it's the same as Christianity and then insult it by declaring your disgust for aspects of it that don't actually exist.

Judaism does not require forgiveness for all crimes. Judaism does not require that we do not feel anger or resentment. And Judaism absolutely FORBIDS indifference in the face of injustice. Jews are not ALLOWED to "stand idly by the blood of [our] neighbors." We are REQUIRED to repair the world and seek justice.

If you want to call Judaism "disgusting," go ahead. But maybe you should learn a bit about the religion first before assuming it's just the same as Christianity.

And how safe was the Middle East? At least in Europe, everyone was too tired to fight, and all refugees would be from countries that started a war and lost. Better than taking land from people who have done nothing wrong.

Israel is home. There’s something lost in translation, honestly, in trying to explain to someone who doesn’t know the pain of diaspora, of the yearning to return home. It’s not actually something I’ve ever needed to explain to Palestinians, with their own deep attachment to the same land and their own mass expulsions from their towns and villages.

There is no “better” in taking land from people. It’s always wrong. It’s that simple. And that doesn’t even touch how European governments would never have agreed to give up land in the first place. It’s unfeasible and impossible for them to have agreed to give up land - especially to the Jews.

Israel never should have stolen Palestinian land. That doesn’t mean, however, that the only way for Jews to have moved to Israel, is to have done that.

Post-WWII there were plenty of places that had been significantly depopulated, and countries that deserved to lose large amounts of land. True, none of them were Israel, but there's not a solution that would make everyone happy. ||| And of course, I'm not talking about anything modern, where there's too much fuckery from every direction for anything resembling a clean solution.

Herding Jews into an area of Europe that the majority of Jews have no connection to whatsoever (after the Holocaust, Ashkenazi Jewry was, of course, horribly depleted) just after WWII for them to be surrounded by the very people who massacred and persecuted and them doesn’t sound like a good idea to me. And it only would have meant creating new European refugees.

Ashkenazi Jews in Europe wanted to get out, and for very good reason. Ashkenazi Jews outside of Europe didn’t want to return, and for very good reason. Mizrahi Jews and Sephardi Jews outside of Europe certainly wouldn’t care to leave for that strange land to which they had no historical connections.

If those European countries had looked the other way if not full on aiding the Nazis in attempting to slaughter all Jews in Europe, what makes you think any of them would have agreed to give up land for those Jews? Hell, even the Jews who did try to return to their homes in Europe found them taken over by non-Jews who refused to leave afterward.

And then the pogroms started again.

No, Europe is not a safe place for Jews and it was never going to be.

While I do think people can have historical connections and a cultural memory of the homeland, I'm not sure that's entirely relevant to deciding what lands go to whom. I agree that jewish people needed a home, I just don't think it had to be Israel. Jewish people definitely wanted it, but so did the Palestinians, and they were the ones living there.

There were Jewish people living there too, at the time. And no other place has any draw for the Jewish people. Don’t forget that the Zionist movement didn’t suddenly mean that Jews where returning to their homeland when they hadn’t before. Over the past two thousand years, Jews were constantly returning, in small numbers, whenever they had the chance.

The Old Yishuv (pre-Zionist Jewish communities) alone was made up of Jews who had never left the area, Yemenite Jews, Ashkenazi Chasidic Jews, and Sephardic Jews, all who lived in Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel as opposed to the State of Israel) because of Jewish attachement to the land.

There aren’t exactly many areas that aren’t populated human beings, and the places that aren’t usually just aren’t livable.

The problem with any claim based on ownership more than a hundred years old is that no one involved is alive, all current owners likely bought the property legally from someone who bought it legally, so there's no way to get it back without taking something from someone who does have a legitimate claim, and the people pushed out are all dead, so it's hard to say anyone other than the current owners has a claim. (to be clear, not the anon, wasn't even home then).

When it comes to actual parcels of land, then yes, the person who lives there has the claim. When it comes to connections to an entire area, claims begin to mean something else and can be valid in many different ways.

Which is why it is never all right to kick someone off the land on which they live, even if your ancestors lived there before, unless that is the exact same person who did the kicking before. Not their relative. Not their descendant. Not even their son.

You cannot solve a refugee crisis by creating more refugees.

I do, however, feel like something should be cleared up regarding who runs Holocaust memorials.

Government programs that have resulted in Holocaust memorials or museums are run by the American government.

The U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. is not an independent institution. It is a government institution. The chair persons of the museum are appointed by the sitting president.

Yes, I am full well aware that much of the focus of the Holocaust Museum is centered around the Jewish Holocaust. However, there is extensive research being done at this institution that provides evidence for & documents the suffering of other Holocaust victims.

I am also well aware that the original chair, Elie Wiesel,who was appointed by president Carter, has said some problematic things in terms of victim inclusion.

Most, if not all, of such institutions and memorials throughout the world have chair-persons appointed by the government of their respective nations. Yes, it does fall on the shoulders of these appointees, who are largely Jewish, to be inclusive of all Holocaust victims. However, the fact that these persons are chosen by governments comprised largely of White people, it could be the possibility that certain chairs are appointed because they have exclusionist views.

That does not make exclusion acceptable, nor does the fact that these people are government appointees justify any exclusion. It also does not justify the use of slurs on any such memorials.

The individual who was appointed to chair the memorial in New York was Jewish. There was no consultation with Rromani about the memorial. It is inexcusable that the memorial contains a slur, but blaming an entire group of people for the mistake of one such individual, who was commissioned by the city, is also unacceptable.

In Europe, quite a few Rromani memorials, the few we have, were designed or created by Jewish artists. These artists are commissioned by the government in which the memorial exists. Yes, Jewish artists could decline the work, or could consult Rromani persons while creating the memorials, but these are individual grievances & not a systematic oppression at the hands of European Jews..

It is likely that these artists are also given certain criteria and plans to which they must adhere & do not have free artistic jurisdiction over memorial projects.

These governments, in both America & Europe, could appoint or commission Rromani persons for the design of Rromani Holocaust memorials, but more often than not, the persons given the responsibility for creating these sacred sites are White or Jewish.

These are in public spaces. Private memorials can be private, but public ones should be inclusive. These public projects are the responsibility of the government, which is largely White & non-Jewish.

I am not excusing the people who are given these responsibilities, but it is by no means appropriate or acceptable to blame a group of people for the fuck ups of individuals.

It must also be noted that White people write & publish our textbooks, the very textbooks that exclude many Holocaust victims & contain slurs.

It is not the responsibility of Jewish persons to stick their necks out for European Rromani, though many do. It is, however, the responsibility of anyone commissioned to make a Holocaust memorial or chair a Holocaust institution to be as inclusive & respectful as possible, White, Jewish or otherwise.

We can be angry & we have a right to feel anger and pain over these things, but we cannot allow our anger to become hate. The only way we can solve these issues are by inter-racial dialogue & recognizing that it is White supremacy that continues too exploit our pain, on both ends of the spectrum. We need to fight the system that has created this divisiveness instead of succumbing to it.

And we Jews, when we discuss the Holocaust, the Porrajmos, the Shoah, we need to speak up in our own communities and institutions, in our schools and in our synagogues, about our Romani allies who were victims in the horror.

We may not be responsible for the erasure. But in no way can we be silent as it continues to go on.

Palestinian Activists Demolish Part of Israeli Apartheid Wall Near Ramallah

On Friday 17th May, a group of young Palestinians and activists from the popular resistance movements demolished part of the Israeli apartheid wall in Abu Deis village near Ramallah.

One of the activists told PNN that dozens of Palestinians protested near the Israeli apartheid wall that was constructed between the Abu Deis and Al-Eizariya villages and that a number of youngsters demolished part of the wall.

He said that Israeli forces arrived to the area and started firing metal-coated bullets and tear gas canisters toward the protesters.

Several Palestinians were arrested while others were able to enter into Jerusalem while holding Palestinian flags, he added.

A 17-year-old Palestinian was injured with a rubber bullet in his head during clashes erupted in Abu Deis village.

Eyewitness said that the injured boy was transferred to Al-Maqased Hospital in the same village for treatment. His injuries were described as serious and severe after being shot by the IOF, according to medical sources.
